ABOUT OUR CANNAS

VISITS  We welcome visitors to our nursery to see or purchase cannas.  We also welcome visitors to see our garden in Farnborough by arrangement.   Visits can be arranged for larger groups such as gardening societies and clubs for which a charge is made of £1.50 per person, and includes tea and home-made scones. At Farnborough, we hold the UK National Collection of canna comprising some 150 varieties.   Incidentally, we always like to add to our collection, particularly of varieties which we have lost due to canna virus disease.

CANNA TRIAL INTERNATIONAL.  In 2008 we are holding a trial of some 50 new varieties of cannas bred by amateur and professional breeders around the world.   This is a combined enterprise with Malcolm Dalebo of Claines Canna and ourselves.  The canna will be available for visiting by appointment (at our home in Farnborough) between July and October 2008, and will be on display at our Open Days at Farnborough.  This trial has its own website www.canna-trial-international.com.

CANNA OPEN DAYS August Bank Holiday, Saturday 23, Sunday 24, Monday 25. Gate opens 10am, closes 5pm.  This is held at our home, 27 Guildford Road West, Farnborough, Hants, GU14 6PS.
Admission £1.50 includes Cream Tea (Scones made by Christine), and a donation to the NCCPG.
Visitors are welcome to relax among our cannas and meet other canna enthusiasts.
